In-Person Housing?

The University of Minnesota just sent out an email notifying students that, starting September 15th, we will be allowed to move into residence halls on campus. I’m feeling a mixed bag of emotions about this…

On one hand, I’m pleasantly surprised! I really didn’t think that I would be able to live on-campus this semester, especially with Covid-19 cases skyrocketing in universities across the country. But on the other hand, I’m a little worried about the U’s ability to test and potentially quarantine such a large number of students.

Either way, I’m very excited for college to start, and I’m really looking forward to experiencing a different place and meeting new people! Hopefully we all make it through this safely.
